Bloom by EmbedLabs

Bloom by EmbedLabs is a source-available, self-hosted product lifecycle management platform. It connects product intent, requirements, risks, change, verification, traceability, and engineering evidence inside one approachable workspace.

Professional lifecycle management without the enterprise gate

Bloom is designed from a quality assurance and verification perspective. It gives teams professional traceability without forcing them into enterprise pricing, spreadsheet-driven lifecycle control, or an interface they avoid using.

Connected engineering records

Bloom manages requirements, specifications, controlled documents, standards, risks, changes, defects, test cases, concepts, suites, campaigns, protocols, reports, and baselines. Stable human-readable identifiers and typed relationships support coverage analysis, impact analysis, controlled visibility, and defensible release decisions.

Incremental migration

Teams can start with one product or requirements set, import requirements through the Requirements Interchange Format and test cases from TestRail, CSV, XML, or Markdown, export the traceability matrix and test cases, and connect GitHub, GitLab, Jira, or Bud only where an integration removes manual work.

Independent and self-hosted

Bloom does not require Bud. Optional Bud integration accepts narrowly scoped outcomes identified by Bloom test-case IDs. Bloom is deployed with Docker Compose using versioned AMD64 and ARM64 images, persistent PostgreSQL and attachment storage, database migrations, readiness checks, and documented backup procedures.

Bloom is also available for installation on Cloudron using the normal product image and the repository's Cloudron package.
